Glad to hear Jax is doing well I think we will coin 2024 as the year of change... Change Rig Change direction Change format Lol...Change is the one thing that stay constant in life. I'm a huge believer of weight in the truck not hanging off the back. That being said, a small 5th wheel would be perfect. We haven't been in many so can't give good advice But we will be at Hersey this year for the whole show, We will be looking with you & us in mind...floor plans, size, & quality are always changing Altho Wendy has already made up her mind (Brinkley)

We love our 29 ft 5 th wheel. The bedroom is smaller than our travel trailer. However the cabin space is huge. We decided we spent less time sleeping and more time enjoying the cabin. You will find exactly what you need and want. The fun is looking.

If you go back to LA make sure to hit up the "Southbay", primarily Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Redondo Beach. All 3 are safe, cool, and interesting. Manhattan is rich but friendly people, Hermosa has a surf town vibe, a great comedy club, and super active pier avenue, and Redondo has an old-school pier (horseshoe shaped) loaded with vintage restaurants, live music bars, and fish sellers. There are a ton of events, from international beach volleyball competitions to art to pub crawls. If you are in an RV you can stay right on the beach north of Manhattan at the "Dockweiler RV Park"

Class C is easy to drive but clearly less space.

Try rockwood/flagstaff. They are the best built TT in my opinion.

We had a small Class C before our Class A and it was easy to maneuver but not sure about office space. Small 5th wheel might be a good fit. Glad to see Jax doing better ❤❤❤

Get a class C ours is 33 feet, two slides and our aussies go with us. Not an issue.

We can understand wanting to share the driving. Ang does not feel comfortable driving the big rig either, and something smaller would be much more manageable. Good luck in your search-we hope you find your unicorn!

Glad to see Jax up and about. Fifth Wheel would be easier for Natalie. You don't have as much tail swing driving down the road like you would with travel trailer. Wind wouldn't be pushing trailer around. Goodluck on the new rig search.

Most important first: Thrilled to see Jax looking lively. How great would it be, if it WAS something else, less serious? Fingers crossed. I can see you guys in, and Natalie driving, a small class A, or a small 5th wheel. As I've been researching couples campers for the past couple of years, I'd like to suggest the Cougar 23MLE. One of the best small fivers I've seen. Incredible travel access, beautiful rear kitchen. Please don't go class B, that would totally change the vibe of your UA-cam channel. Kind of like when KYD bought a teardrop trailer... Lol. As for smaller travel trailers, look at the Rockwood 2515s (Flagstaff 25SRK), Alliance Delta 252RL, or RK234, which is even smaller. Freedom Express 259fkds is really nice, as is the Rockwood 2606WS (Flagstaff 26RBWS), but crappy travel access. Those are just the ones that have made it to my short list. PS, as a very famous RV reviewer told me, Rockwood/Flagstaff is hands down, the best bang for your buck. We just purchased the grand design 28rl, with our 1 ton diesel. I do tow it all the time easy to get in and out and a great price. Works wonderful 😊

Sometimes the shopping process is the most stressful. Hopefully you can find something that suits your needs. Glad to hear that Jax is doing good but frustrated that they haven't figured anything out yet.

Look into a super C, especially one with a international chassis. They are capable of towing a toad

I'd love to see you spend a weekend in a teardrop. That would be so funny.

We have the 295 alliance 5th and I am able to drive on freeways. I feel way more comfortable than when we had a 30ft bumper pull. It has allowed us to increase our driving distance per day by 1/3 more.

Having had both a travel trailer and a fifth wheel. The fifth wheel is easier to tow than the travel trailer. The wife can drive while towing it but did not like the travel trailer. Backing up anything is another story for her.
